My Toolkit

When the need for changing practices and processes in the workplace is recognised, individuals and organisations can face challenges in bringing about these changes. Issues can relate to:

  • Identifying what needs to be done.
  • What are the similarities and differences in the new and current work practices?
  • Assessing readiness of the workplace environment and culture for the new processes.
  • Developing realistic and achievable goals for the new processes.

My Toolkit includes action checklists and resources with links to videos, blogs, podcasts and further reading to help you maintain your knowledge about end-of-life care and facilitate discussion and engagement at work.

The ACSQHC is responsible for the formulation of standards relating to health care safety and quality matters and for formulating and coordinating the accreditation scheme. The Commission has undertaken a comprehensive review of assessment processes and developed six strategies to improve the Australian Health Service Safety and Quality Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme’s reliability to more accurately assess an organisation’s compliance with the NSQHS Standards. These strategies are supported by states and territories as well as the private and public sectors. https://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/standards/nsqhs-standards
